How to eat Moringa seeds

Moringa seeds are a nutritious food that can be consumed in a variety of ways. Here are some steps on how to eat Moringa seeds:

  • First, make sure that the seeds are mature and fully dried. You can harvest the seeds from a mature Moringa tree and let them dry in the sun for a few days.
  • Remove the outer shell of the seeds. You can do this by gently cracking the shell with a nutcracker or a mortar and pestle. The white inner seed will be revealed.
  • Rinse the seeds thoroughly with clean water to remove any remaining bits of shell.
  • The seeds can be eaten raw, roasted, or boiled. If you want to eat them raw, you can simply sprinkle them on top of your salad or mix them into your smoothie. If you prefer to roast them, you can do so by placing them in a preheated oven at 150-200°C (300-400°F) for about 10-15 minutes until they are slightly browned. If you want to boil them, place the seeds in boiling water for about 10-15 minutes until they are soft and can be easily chewed.
  • You can also grind the seeds into a powder and use it as a spice or add it to your food or drink. Moringa seed powder can be used as a natural supplement to boost your immune system or improve digestion.

Note: It's important to keep in mind that Moringa seeds can have a laxative effect when consumed in large amounts. So it's recommended to start with a small amount and gradually increase the intake. If you have any concerns, it's always best to consult with a healthcare professional.
